Charl Bruyns is the CEO of BetterHome Group South Africa and leads the Group's South African business and its next phase of growth. He rejoined BetterHome Group in 2021, having previously spent five years with the Group in executive leadership roles, including CFO and CEO. Since returning, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the Group's strategy, strengthening its operations and building a high-performance, purpose-driven culture.
Passionate about people, innovation and exceptional client experiences, Charl is focused on helping more South Africans achieve their homeownership dreams while creating long-term value for clients, partners and the Group. Prior to rejoining BetterHome Group, Charl held several senior executive roles at Standard Bank, including Head of Investor Services and Financial Institutions, as well as CFO and COO of the bank's Transactional Products and Services business.
